Finally Hyundai Creta 2018 facelift Variant launched in India

Hyundai has launched the much awaited 2018 facelift variant in India. The class apart SUV, which earlier had a starting price of 9.29 lakhs, would now start with 9.43 lakhs for the base Petrol E Variant while the topmost diesel variant will now cost a whopping 15.03 lakh rupees. (which is 51,000 more as per Delhi ex-showroom price).

The in-between model prices have been reduced while the base and top variants would cost more now due to the add-on of new features.


Top Petrol Auto transmission version will now cost 40,000 rupees more now as new features such as cruise control, electric roof, new infotainment system, premium daytime running LED’s,  telemetric features and child seat anchor while top diesel auto transmission model would now cost 24,000 more

The Base diesel auto transmission model ( S AT ) would cost 50,000 rupees less than before.

Highest priced petrol version would be known as SX(O) which costs 13.59 lakhs (Too pricey for a petrol SUV)

LED hadlights

New Features

Hyundai 2018 Creta would have a new closer to headlamps front grille.

Bumper has been redesigned too as it will now feature daytime running LED lights. Headlamp areas look similar to the previous version as it still has halogen projector headlamps.


Interiors have been redesigned to give a premium look to the SUV and they will have been built in black-and-beige dual tone theme, though the dual tone versions would have a completely black interior with orange highlights.


New Creta would be available in a total of 7 eye-catching colors –  Passion Orange, Sleek Silver, Fiery Red, Stardust, Polar White, Phantom Black and Marina Blue. Out of these Passion, Orange and Marina Blue are the newly launched Hyundai colors available in Creta and 2018 Elite i20.


As we previously reported, Alloys have now been to the Swiss style. New graphics and dual tone bumper are noticeable as well. As is given in China Creta model, Tail lamps won’t be LED.

Creta Back

The engine has not been replaced and it continues to have the same old 6 gear power of a 1,6-liter engine.
